These are words of strong urging that God has given me. They are meant to spur you on to good works, make you think, and make you move differently to get the God-pleasing results He calls us to.
“Don’t burn your bridges,” is a very common saying in my country. It is usually advice given by an older adult to a younger adult, or a person farther along in a journey… On the surface, that is pretty sound advice. But on a sleepless and lonely night, it couldn’t be more horrible.
The world is starting to reopen. In the USA states are entering phases one and two of their reopening plans. People are desperately getting back to work. The world is coming off of the pause.
Please do not overlook the small and beautiful beginnings God is trusting you with. If you are faithful over small, He will see that He can trust you with more. But if you are dishonest with little, He will see that you will be dishonest with much.
I wanted so desperately to do what God was telling me to do in His word because I really loved Him and wanted to please Him. It seemed like every time I tried to obey, I couldn’t. That is, until I stoped trying and just did.
