Nothing Wasted

I don’t know about you, but this time has been filled with ups and downs for me. Starting a new role at work, picking up a second gig to make ends meet, and supporting my family through some things has all taken a toll of sorts. My adversary, the devil has not let up on the pressure that is hammering down on me, but guess what neither has God.

Amidst trying to figure out all the things, God has been right here holding me up with His righteous right hand. I sense Him nearer than ever before. I’m not saying I have arrived, I am saying that I’m closer to Him than I was yesterday. And the Word He sent you me through My Elizabeth is, “Don’t quit! Don’t lose hope! Don’t give up!” I receive it!

The enemy wants so badly for us to quit on God and quit on ourselves, but God’s precious Holy Spirit is living in the inside of all who received Him and empowering us to hold on another day. If I didn’t have Holy Spirit dwelling in me, I’d be completely hopeless. I’d be like a ship without a sail (as the old folks used to sing in the Baptist church). As I was pondering the thoughts I’m penning, I heard in my spirit, “Nothing wasted.”

Hear me well when I say this and believe it with all of your heart. Say it even if you need to, out loud. “God will not waste any portion of your story but use it for His glory.” Every event from birth to now are apart of God’s living epistle to be read of men through YOU! The pin was for a purpose! The betrayals, trials, tests, and tears were all for a purpose. What that is for you, only God knows and you will discover, but believe me, He won’t waste it if you let Him use it.

This was just a light post to remind you that you are loved and lovable. You are sought by God and seen. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You have all sufficiency through our all sufficient God. Do not quit! Do not give up! Do not faint! There will be nothing wasted in your story.
