Testimony Alert 🚨: God has me covered on all sides! A tree and a light pole fell on my car last night in one of the worst storms I’ve ever experienced in my life, and my ride sustained MINIMAL damages!

Last night as I was on the phone with My Elizabeth and her son. We watched as fierce lightening bombarded the sky! We were terrified! It looked like the scene of a scary movie. The storm slowly moved into the city and I caught it and y’all! The thunder and lightening, the hail and the rain were SO heavy that I thought my windows on my house would break. I turned off all my lights, unplugged my internet box, and got in the bed. I laid down, because that was all I had the capacity to do. Her and her son hung up the phone and there was just me and God.

I didn’t have kids to comfort or comfort me. I didn’t have a man to bury my head in his chest and he tell me everything is going to be ok. I had me and God. So, in a gentle voice, I prayed.

As I was praying, I heard Him say in my spirit, “Why are you afraid?” I asked Him what he said, and He repeated Himself, “Why are you afraid?” Immediately Psalms 23 and a scripture in 1 John flooded my mind and heart, “Perfect love casts out all fear.” I recited the scriptures and thanked God for His great love for me. Then I felt it. While the hail crashed into my windows, while the lightning and thunder rolled, I felt the peace of God. The peace passed all understanding and was guarding my heart from fear. I slept like a baby!

When I woke up this morning, I turned my phone on and I had a voicemail from my grandmother, “Hey baby, a tree fell on your car. Check it out in the morning.” WHAT?! I panicked! I jumped up and threw on shoes and ran outside. Not only did a tree fall on my car, a light pole did too! Randomly a man in t-shirt and shorts was outside with a garden hoe, clearing out the drains because the streets were flooding.

He asked if this was my car and I said yes and took pictures for my insurance. He walked around my car and said that he thinks I’ll have minimal damage and all I have to do is pull forward. I looked at the bottom of my car glowing. The way the light pole fell, the bulb was directly behind my back tire so if I pull forward, I wouldn’t roll over it. He helped me clear branches and I got in the car.

I pulled the car up, feeling the branches scratch it, and my car after pulling up a few feet was free. The light that was under my car was still on (catch it!! #thatwillpreach). Y’all! I walked around my car and took pictures, MINIMAL DAMAGE!!! A dent and a few scratches, but not totaled! GOD HAS ME COVERED ON EVERY SIDE!!!!

I rolled around the block thanking Him, and pulled into my grandmothers driveway and parked my car there. God is awesome y’all! I am loved! I am protected! His hand is on those who trust Him! Thank you Jesus for protecting all that pertains to me! You are FAITHFUL!
