I was babysitting in a space with three little loves of my life, my nieces and we were reading a story about love! It was a children’s book by one of my favorite Christian authors that explained 1 Corinthians 13. As were were reading, one of my little sweeties asked, “Auntie Baby, how is Jesus coming back?”

I got a jolt and excitement when I heard this question! I went on to explain that He is coming back through the clouds and all those that loved Jesus and had already died would rise up first and go into the sky to meet Jesus, then us who are alive who love Jesus will be called you to meet him in the sky! I went on to talk about there being a huge trumpet that’s going to blow and everyone all over the world will know it’s time for Jesus to come back.

God further allowed me to answer questions of when, how, whose coming and so on! They were saying that their friends who prayed with them at recess and believed in Jesus we’re coming, and our departed loved ones who loved Jesus were coming too. They called out the name of my grandmother who they never knew and my great uncle that departed to rest who they met. It was the sweetest conversation Holy Spirit has empowered me to have to date!

They left our time excited about the return of Jesus Christ, all from talking about and thinking about love. My friend, do you have joy when you think of Christ’s return? Don’t get me wrong, we did talk about some of the bad stuff that was going to happen in the end found in Matthew 24, but boy were their fears gone when they learned that a live that follows Christ in earth will follow Christ to heaven and live forever!
