Good & Loved

God is good and we are loved. There is currently a newer Christian song out called Good and Loved by Travis Greene and Stephanie Gretzinger. Some of the lyrics are, “No matter what comes or goes, one thing you must know, is that I am good, you are loved… don’t forget it, that I am good, you are loved.” The bridge goes on to say, “if you forget, just lift your head, my banner over you is love.”

Why am I starting this post off about this song? It is because tonight, God sung it to me. I do not know who is reading this, what you’re going through, or how long you’ve been going through it. I am here to remind you that God is good and we are loved. He sees you, knows you, loves you, and has never left or forsaken you. His banner over you is love, and the proof of His love is blood.

You may be in waiting and have been waiting for a long time for something, but I encourage you to keep your confidence in the character of God! He is SO consistent! What he does for one, he can do for another! Do not allow time to negatively impact what you think about him. Honestly, and I know this is hard to swallow, but if He never does another thing, he has already done enough. Look back over your life and see the many blessings UNDESERVED He has given you! His love for you and ME is real! We are so loved and seen!

Do me a favor, as you’re reading this, just say thank you. Thank God for his love and care over you. Thank God for your current portion. Thank Him until something shifts in you! Thank Him until YOU respond to what he asked YOU to do!

It’s simple, I cannot say it enough to myself and to you: God is good, we are loved.

“For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, to give you a hope and an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
