From: God To: The One Who Forgot Their First Love

Hello My Beloved,

There is something about remembering that shows a person how much you love them. Like when you remember a unique detail about them that seems small, but it is significant in their daily routine or to who they are as a person, or if you remember their birthday, or favorite color, and respond as though you remember with an act of service or a gift. That kind of love is desired by all, even by Me, your God. But my dear beloved, You’ve been doing well in most things, and I see you, but you have forgotten the main thing, Me. Like My beloved children, I have opened an opportunity for you to remember and respond, so take heed, because my love for you is deep and I want you to see and enjoy me.

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 2:1-7

Beloved, my word for the forgetful has not changed. My Word remains when I tell you:

Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”

John 14:15

Do you see beloved? If your candlestick is removed due to a lack of repentance, turning from sin (knowing what you need to do and not doing it) and back towards me, you will not see me. It is my desire and the purpose I created you, to know me and love me, that includes seeing me. My Word says in Matthew 5:8:

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

So, when I tell you to return to the first works:

  • Walk in Unity
  • Do not grieve the Holy Spirit
  • Put on the New Man
  • Walk in Love
  • Walk in Light
  • Walk in Wisdom
  • Put on the Whole Armor of God

It is not to be done from a works based mentality, but from a pure heart that has the motivation to love Me.

Your job is to:

  1. Remember from where you’ve fallen
  2. Repent
  3. Do the first works

I do not leave them as a mystery beloved, they are outlined in the book of Ephesians. Your obedience comes with the reward of not only seeing me and my activity in the now and the time to come, but will be afforded the opportunity to eat from the tree of life that is in the midst of My paradise.

Be encouraged beloved, I see your work, I see that it is not mild labor, but laborious taking a stand for me. I see you shedding light on the liars who call themselves apostles, I see how you can’t stand evil, I cannot either—you are like me in this and I love it. I see that you hate the deeds of them that mix the profane with the holy and I love it, because I do too!

You can keep seeing me and shining for me if you turn back to me, your first love, and do the first works.

Love, Abba Father
