From: God To: The One I’m Training in Isolation

Hello My Beloved,

I know you have been under a bit of pressure in this season. You have been charging forward with weak hands and a willing heart into the things I have for you. You are holding on to the promise I made and the Word I spoke over your life. I see you.

I know you have been uncomfortable in isolation. I know you really want someone to ride this season out with you, but beloved, I cannot allow that right now. I will always send you encouragement and refreshing when you need it most. I will send the hug, the kiss, the person to listen, when you need it most. But, I will allow this isolation for a moment. It is in your solitude that I am training you. Everyone cannot see what I am doing. I do not want anyone or anything taking away your attention from me. Yes, your phone will be dry and nobody will give you a call or text. I am training you in this isolation.

You are not alone. There are a many of my beloved that I have trained in isolation. Look at my servant David as he shepherded sheep those many years, fighting off bears and predators. I was preparing him to be a mighty warrior and shepherd of my people.

“Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.”

1 Samuel 17:36

Look at my servant Moses. He went through the wilderness for 40 years before I led him back to Egypt to free my people, who he then had to lead through the wilderness for 40 years to get to the promised land.

Beloved, what you do in secret will be rewarded openly. Keep praying in secret. Keep giving in secret. Keep denying yourself in secret. I will reward you openly. You think you have been shadowboxing in the spirit for naught, but no beloved, you are preparing to stand against the enemy of God and win the greatest battle in history as my warrior.

I am training you in secret to be an articulate and effective communicator with me because in due season, you will be communicating my truths to many publically. I am training you to hear my voice in isolation because out in the open, you will say what I said. I am training you to study and get understanding of my Word in private, because you will teach my principles in public to many. I am training you to forgive in secret, because I will make your enemies your footstool openly, and there is no space in my miracles for pride, arrogance, and believing you earned anything. Love covers a multitude of sin and forgiveness training will reveal that.

So just know beloved, I am with you. I am your Teacher. I am your example. Look at my Son, as he trained in isolation to submit to my will and not his own. He is now the Savior of the world, Ruler, and King throughout all eternity. Beautiful things come from training in isolation.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

  2. Sometimes I forget that God is still teaching me to rely completely on Him. I’m thankful for His love and patience with me. I’d have given up on me a long time ago. Great post. Thanks!

  5. Jerrica, I truly can’t explain how God has used you to speak to me. This is the 2nd time now, lol. First with the bracelet and the message it came with, and now through this word that has come through you. It’s funny how God works! My words can’t truly express how timely this was…. thank you (much more than you know)! I wish I could explain, but as stated, although others may not see, know, or understand- God works in private to prepare for the public.
